From her heart

Testimonials

Women sharing how the Lord met them.

Looking back at the weekend, I see joy returning — sisterhood, laughter, and the nearness of God. I arrived carrying so much heaviness that I barely recognised myself, yet somewhere between the worship and the quiet walks, something in me finally softened.

Women I had never met held space for me as if we had known each other for years. There was no rush to fix me — only a gentle invitation to be honest before the Lord.

I went home lighter. Not because every answer arrived, but because I remembered again that I am seen, loved, and not alone in this walk with Jesus.

God’s love was shown in such practical, approachable ways that I left freer and more hopeful than I had felt in a long time. There was no performance required of me — just honest conversations, gentle prayer, and teaching that felt like bread for a hungry heart.

Even the small details of hospitality whispered that I mattered. Meals, quiet corners, and sisterly care became places where His kindness felt close enough to touch.

Since the weekend I have caught myself returning to those moments whenever life feels loud. Hope is easier to find when you have tasted His kindness so tangibly.

The prophetic word and one-on-one care opened places in my heart I had locked away for years. I had grown skilled at keeping the deeper rooms closed — smiling on the outside while quietly bracing for disappointment — until a sister sat with me and spoke words that only the Lord could have known.

It did not feel dramatic. It felt precise and kind, as if heaven had noticed the exact place I had stopped letting anyone near.

Something that had been frozen began to thaw, and I am still learning how to walk gently with that newly opened place.

Karabo

I found sisterhood across cultures and walks of life — and a deeper walk with my Bridegroom. Around the table and under the stars we shared stories that did not need polishing: different backgrounds, the same longing to be known by Jesus and by one another.

What stays with me is the sense that the Body of Christ can still feel like home — warm, honest, and wide enough for every woman who comes hungry for Him.

I left with new friendships and a quieter confidence that I do not have to walk this road alone.

It was not dogma or pressure — just foundational truth and a safe place to be who I am in Him. I came wary of religious environments that leave little room to breathe, and instead found teaching that rooted me again in the simplicity of the Gospel, with people who made space for questions without rush.

I left steadier. Not with a new checklist, but with a clearer sense that belonging to Jesus is rest, not striving.

His bride is invited to live from that rest — and for the first time in a long while, that invitation felt possible for me too.

Stories from the weekend

I rediscovered my femininity and identity in Christ — not as a performance, but as beloved.
